An Artist's Rendering
An interpretation of the Pee Dee ceremonial center at Town Creek, based on information available in 1950.
Drawing by Barton Wright, 1951
The Mound is visible in the upper right portion of the drawing, with the western banks of the Little River in the left foreground. Subsequent archaeological study has shown that only minor revisions will be necessary to render a final reconstruction.
